about oil type 15W40 or 10W40 are approved, by bmw motorrad in year 2007: "For your F 800 we recommend the use of mineral oils with API classification SF to SH. SJ an higher are not approved. The only exception are the synthetic Castrol Oils GPS 10W-40 and Castrol Power 1 4T 10W-40. As further synthetic oils have not been tested there is no approval for the use available. I have an update from BMW Portugal in year 2024: 15W50 full synthetic is the correct oil for this bike.

I have this bike but have major vibration from the engine above 3500rpm. Does anyone know what cause it?
