These guys ACTUALLY managed to make this car sound better than a fart box. Well done. It also doesn't do that incredibly grating popping. I WAS 100% for an E92 M3 with a valvetronic exhaust (seriously, y'all NEED to hear this setup. Your hairs will stand up), but may consider getting an M4 if I can set it up to sound EXACTLY like this. Well done, Valvetronic. Well done.

​@valvetronic Honestly, this is hands down the absolute BEST F8X EXHAUST!! The only thing I wished you guys would do is shoot a proper commercial advertisement for this: Do some smokey burn outs, some hairpin drifts with clouds of smoke coming off the tires, some tunnel runs, but start it out with some nice gentle music, early in the morning with birds chirping kind of thing. Then, do a mean Cold Start in a quiet tunnel to wake up the Beast, and then all the stuff I said before. I just bought mine; it should be here in a few days……………I can’t wait to get it on!! Way to go, Valvetronic, you hit a Grand Slam out the park!!

I wonder how it will sound with a high flow 200 cell cat (Evolution Racewerkes) or a resonated catless downpipe (ARM). I may consider changing my exhaust set-up again, lol.

This is a great question, with a set of catted down pipes the volume will be less but the experience will still be extremely pleasurable. The catted down pipes help reduce some of the low rpm rasp but still allowing you to have a lot of volume. This set up is truly something special we’re excited for you to enjoy it if you decide to do the upgrade!

@@valvetronic I know it'll still sound really good. I actually think the high flow catted downpipes will deepen the tone! I live in Cali, so no need to be too loud, but can't help it, haha. Sounds very good. It sounds like the single midpipe down low, but screams just like the equal length should, so it retains the body. I like how it sounds great throughout the whole rpm band.

We think it adds to the effect, on a cold morning cold start when the valves are closed all the gases come out of the drivers side but when you click the m2 button the path changes to all 4. It’s like watching the flood gates of a dam open. It’s pretty fun

I don't hate the sound, sounds pretty good, kinda E46ish, but, you buy an M3 F80 to make it sound like a crazy deep inline 6, and that just sounds like a V6 from like a 350z... If you want that, get yourself a Macan GTS or a Audi RS4, it will be faster at first gear and sound just as nice
