Did you use the recommended bmw loctite sealant and primer? If you didnt, what did you use and did it hold up because that loctite stuff for bmw is expensive.

Is the seal too narrow to pop out with a standard seal puller, pick or screwdriver?

We tried to use picks and a screwdriver and could not get it to budge.

Its not very very simple to remove. To install is much much easier but quit bs its not easy to remove at all
