Did it take the 1.1 litres? I agree about the BMW manual, maybe it's misprints? I got an '07 G650X Challenge last summer and when doing the oil change it took more than what was stated in the manual to reach the fill line. I forget the exact amounts but it seemed considerably more. Thank you for these videos! Best wishes from Canada

Hello, guys I have been struggling a lot with this , when I go high rpm , suddenly the bikes stalls and the red light of rpm poops out and it shows me the maxim rpm without touch it , any suggestions in what could it be ? Much appreciated Thanks

I just took the panels off to change the air filter and noticed I don't have any coolant in the reservoir tank! The bikes been standing for 2 weeks, but this is'nt normal?

I have always seen coolant in my tank. my bike has been sitting for 4 months and it’s still visible

My old champion I suggest you read the manufacturer's instructions again 31:56 You did something else, I think your procedure is better, but if you followed the manufacturer's procedure it is also fine. It happens that there are mistakes in these books, but this time there is no mistake.

Hi mate, perhaps you missed something.. but I started to follow exactly the BMW RSD, but as you could see, as long as the engine did not run, air/coolant didn't escape through that breather scew.. OR did I missed something ?

@@TheOldMechanic Two different procedures. You are looking to hear air coming out. In BMW's procedure, the scoring is done at atmospheric pressure by the order of operations they offer.

Just start the engine and push the water hoses to remove air bubbles, then add more coolant untill it drops out the radiator and close it, add coolant to the reservoir untill the full line. Start the engine untill the fan starts, turn It off, let the engine cool down and finally add more coolant to the reservoir tank. Replace coolant every 2 years !!
