BMW G82 M4: AWE Tuning Switchpath exhaust (axle back)

In this video, we install the all-new awe-tuning switch path exhaust for the BMW G82 M4 Competition. This exhaust also fits on the BMW G80 M3 models. It's compatible with the regular version and competition M models.

We installed the axle back version only, without the resonator delete. This is the most conservative setup offered by AWE-Tuning. It keeps the primary cats in the downpipes, the secondary cats in the midpipe, and one resonator.
It's got a charming exhaust note, but if everything else is stock, it's too quiet. We recommend this setup with catless or high-flow catted downpipes or for customers who did a secondary cat bypass.
Next week, we will install the resonator delete, expecting this to open up the sound.

Is the remote to open the valves part of the awe set up or a third party solution?

The remote we are using is the VSC-2 x-ph.com/cg-precision-vsc-2-variable-sound-controller/

So if I am seeing things correctly........the AWE Swithpath exhaust removes one resonator and adding the mid pipe removes the second resonator? Have you tried the AWE Swithpatch with a x pipe instead of the AWE midpipe? Curious how that would sound?

you are correct. We were not able to fit the axle back with an X-pipe.

@@marktummillo715 Its a mild upgrade over stock, sounds great but not aggressive. If that's the sound you are looking for, the AWE is an excellent option.

I’m sure if you get the cat back system that removes the resonator and secondary cats it will have the sound you are expecting.

I don’t think he went into sport + mode. AWE has a really in depth video of the sound with all different version. When they put it into sport + it has a lot more burbles and throatier sound.

Please note this is the most conservative option. We will add the resonator delete next week, which will open up the sound.
