Thanks for making this video, was wondering how easy it would be to change out G80 brake pads. Just wish they had the same drop-in design like my old F80. I have an M3 on order and this is the first thing I'm doing. Hate brake dust.

Yeah … why did they change the caliper!? Used to be so easy to remove pads. Now we have to remove the caliper like on a P car. Annoying.

Have you guys bled the brakes yet? I want to swap to Castrol fluid but read fluid swapping is a PITA and only BMW can do it? Any input would be appreciated! Great video! Thank you

Changing the fluid is just like any other car. You’d need software to run the abs pump to bleed that, but not necessary if you just want to change it for racing fluid and the fluid that’s currently in it, isn’t that old

@@MrPiciuStunt depends on the model, but with most of them, you tap the start button 3 times. Do a quick KZbin search on your car and I'm sure you will find a video showing how to get your car to this mode

Do these pads reduce brake dust at all ?

I feel they did vs stock but it's very dusty in Las Vegas all the time so it's tough to say for sure. Im just happy they don't squeak like stock and they got better-stopping power.

Significant enhancement. Keep in mind that the Yellow Stuff is designed to be suitable for street use while also being capable of handling casual track cars.

@@tkc056 the yellow stuff has better stopping power. the red stuff produce less dust. Both are considered low noise pads.
