Little bit hot 🥵, I’ve never even thought about a trip of this nature, bit old and decrepit now , but what a place , I’ve always stuck to Central and southern Europe and Northern Europe, in the past , Fantastic video can’t wait to see more 😊.

Incredible tour but way too hot for me. I guess day 7 was the one you've mentioned last week. Anyways, the views are insane and I'm glad I can at least experience them from my home with waaaaay lower temps and not being cooked 😁.

Hi Bruce just watching your Morocco adventure, good stuff by the way, and was looking at some of your other stuff, when I came across your rtw trip. Binged watched it over 3 nights, what can I say but epic. The highs, the lows, the places the people, what a journey. Me like most who’ve watched this can only dream about what you saw and did, and it got me thinking, would I do it, and to be honest, the answer would be no. I think it takes a certain type of person with a bit more determination,character, and grit that I don’t think the vast majority of bikers don’t have, including me. I’ve just come back from France stayed in hotels and that’s about as rough as I want it to get, (big girls blouse).So respect for what you did, and hope all the people you met are still in contact with you👍keep up the good work

Hi James, Mate that’s very kind of you to say and I’m chuffed you enjoyed the RTW series too. Feels like a lifetime ago now, but I can sense the need for another adventure is festering away inside again, so watch this space in the future 😉👍 The hardest part of going on a big trip like that, is simply leaving. Once you do that, you’re just riding your bike and dealing with whatever comes your way - much like everyday life really. If you NEED to do it, then make it happen bud and never give up until you’re ready to 👍

It’s crazy how quickly the heat zaps your energy, your really do need to cover every bit of exposed skin when you’re out in it for any length of time 👍

Cheers Andy, winter varies wildly in Morocco, some places can be high 20’s/low 30’s, other places are covered in snow and full on winter sports - just depends where really. July is absolutely NOT the time to go, that is the hottest period 🤦‍♂️🤣 Glad you enjoyed it 👍

Great video - as always - however can you give any recommendations for riding gear - obviously mesh but some combinations will be better than others ? I am now looking forward even more to my trip to Morocco in October 2024 with Magellan !

I wore the AdventureSpec Supershirt and their Mongolia trail pants, both were fantastic bits of kit. The Supershirt is literally all you need in terms of protective clothing, it’s fully armoured - elbows, shoulders, chest and back, and even the material it’s made of is fully slide resistant. You don’t even need a base layer with it, and it’s easy to remove the armour and wash in the sink/shower of your hotel. The tour sets were really light and had big vents down the front thighs so we’re nice and cool when standing up. They also have protection in the knees and hips. I was given the Supershirt but bought the trousers, and still 100% recommend them bud, honestly great kit. 👍 I also bought the AdventureSpec Singletrack jacket as a light waterproof option, but obviously it wasn’t needed.

I guess it's true about mad dogs and Englishmen out in the mid day sun. Scottsman not so much. I met an Englishman riding in the Arizona desert wearing a heavy leather jacket. He had a soaked towel draped over his neck and stuffed into the jacket. Worked pretty good apparently but I wouldn't want to be that soggy.
