I guess I'm a little bit late, but with the problem of the oil cooler: you could have changed to the tank from a R 1150 R with two oil cooler side by side to the tank. So you don't have no problem with the fork. The tank is plug and play to the bike.

nice build man, I was you i would move the oil cooler down to in front of the motor. and the little plug that was rubbing on the rear tire you can take that off, in Europe the bikes come with a carbon canister here in SA we dont have that,

In europe they don't come with the canister too. It was made for the US. In germany, where I come from, the plug is meant to be for the Alarmsystem.
