BMW High Pressure Fuel Pump Teardown n53 n54 and n55

Hello, in this episode I will disassemble a high pressure fuel pump HPFP from the N54 petrol engine, in order to understand and learn how it works internally and what possible causes of failure it may have.

Bravo, great tear down. Most cases the oil gets out due to o-ring getting faulty. I have made a video on its repair

@@tonto0739 please check my channel for the size of x ring and oil seals. U need to get it from local o-ring shop which sells hoses n o-rings for heavy vehicles/steamers

Finally some one decides to open the HFPP and now i can just buy a new one, not worth rebuilding and is no rebuild kits available anyway, thanks bro

generic orings thats all tha fails the orings its so simple its brilliant but been simple means the weakest components fail ie the orings, there is a chinese guy does a fantastic job of stripping down and replacing the orings his video is on here somewhere, he even made a tool to remove the pistons, its like a grinder tightening tool

If i want to repair the seal ring it could work again im having fuel leak from it maybe the ring could it be repaired or i should change all the fuel pump
