This video is about the new BMW 5 Series. More accurately, the new electric 5 series - the i5. We decided to check out the 2023 i5 in its most affordable form - the eDrive40 saloon. In this video, we check out what's to like to drive, the on-board tech, and how much it differs from the petrol-powered variations.

5:41 Well this right here is part of the folly of Brexit in my opinion. Did we really think that large corporations were going to go to the expense of separating things for the EU and UK markets?! No, as far as compliance with regulations companies still treat the UK as if it was part of the EU because it’s just cheaper and simpler. Now of course if we had stayed in the EU and our representatives had objected to (for example) this mandatory speed reminder, then we would have had a voice in changing the law. Outside, we can do nothing but accept what comes, we have lost our control by trying to regain it. Anyways…. Nice car lol

this might be a good review but ! a very big but ! they are electric ! no one wants one ! they a blowing up in China the infrastructure isn't there the range is terrible and I know not of a single person who wants one !

You know that. I know that. Unfortunately the world's governments don't. And whilst China and India spew out more shite into the atmosphere, it hardly seems pointless that everyone else is -going- being forced to go EV when they're overpriced and the infrastructure for charging all these EV's on the roads is not there and nor will it be there in 2035. 8-((... And if the _"Greenies"_ think that solar and wind are going to be our electric saviours, they won't. Wind turbines don't work if it's too windy or not windy and solar panels don't work if it's night time and, unbelievably, if it's too sunny!!??

This new 5-series is a disapointment I must unfortunately say after driving it... why? here is 5 dislikeable things about the new G60: 1. Too small handle to close the door 2. Weird design of the inside doorhandle with no feel and very plastic 3. Way too plastic windows/mirror control unit with really cheap clicking noise 4. Layout of the buttons on the steering wheel and their feel is awful 5. The most idiotic design for controlling the air vents direction ever, never thought BMW could make that bad design of it
