BMW i7 vs Mercedes EQS: Battle of the Flagships

The i7 definitely seems to be the better looking of the two. It also seems to have much nicer tech. The looks of the EQS are baffeling considering it was made on a unique platform. This means that they had a clean page when designing. There weren't really any limits and could have created literally anything. But they came out with a Prius-inspired blob. The i7 on the other hand uses a shared platform so it HAS to use the exact dimensions of the 7 Series but yet it looks striking and elegant. I'm not a fan of the glowing grille though.

The I7's exterior, especially in the two-tone color scheme, exudes a greater sense of luxury compared to the EQS. However, the interior of the EQS surpasses the I7 in terms of beauty. The EQS also offers better acceleration performance than the I7. Choosing between the two is a challenging task, but overall, Mercedes-Benz demonstrates better efficiency than BMW in general.

EQS has better drag coef but exterior looks like it's some kind of Leaf. BMW is better both in interior and exterior.

I am obsessed with eqs entertainment center but the outside isn't screaming luxury, ill take the tesla plaid Instead

The front wheel drive proportions of the Mercedes make it look less expensive than the rear wheel drive proportions of the BMW. And that big ass screen in the BMWs rear seat is badass. I’d still go with the Mercedes. U can’t beat the prestige.

The EQS can have double the range as far as im concerned. Yet i would still take the i7 as i still find the shape of the EQS straight up ugly after months of seeing it driving around on the streets, i just can't get used to it.

What's sad is that it was built on its own platform so they could have made it look like anything they wanted. And then they give us something that looks like a LWB Prius. The i7 shares a platform with the 7 Series so it literally has to follow the same basic design but they have done an amazing job. Especially compared to the EQS.

@@WayneVo The problem with EQS is that look like honda civic.Honda civic is not ugly car but this bmw is very bad designed.it doesnt look classy it is just ugly and i am so dissapointed even though i am BMW fan.

the bmw is the most ugly car in 2022. And the interior from the 7 with the big display mercedes has with the e-class since 2014. For me the EQS please 🔥

It looks normal with daytime headlights.But with all headlights turned on it looks like a big wardrobe.
