BMW i7 v Porsche Taycan Turbo S v Mercedes AMG EQS: DRAG RACE

How does this sound: the most powerful electric German saloon cars available in the UK - in a drag race!
Mat's behind the wheel of the Mercedes AMG EQS 53. With 658hp and 950Nm of torque it's certainly no slouch - but it's heavy though, weighing nearly 2600kg. And it's the most expensive car here, costing more than £161,000.
Next up we have Yianni in the Porsche Taycan Turbo S. It has 761hp - nearly 100hp more than the Mercedes - and 1050Nm of torque. It's lighter too - at 'only' 2300kg. Oh, and it costs £142,000.
Lastly, we have the BMW i7 50. It has 544hp, 745Nm of torque and weighs 2600kg. It's the cheapest car here though, costing £110,000
So what do you think? Easy win for the Porsche? Could the EQS snatch it or could even the BMW sneak up for the win? Only one way to find out - LET'S RACE!

Isn't the BMW i7 listed as "xDrive60"? It also should only have 536hp while having 544PS. At 745Nm of torque it's def at a disadvantage compared to the other two cars. The new i7 M70 is now also listed at BMW UK and with 1100Nm is able to start a bit more "agile" (3.7 vs 4.7sec 0-100kph)! Also totally agree with Mat, the BMW, while controversial, has certainly the most present on the road. Mercedes has comletely lost its way design-wise.

The EQS is faster than i expected. I expected it to get beat by a mile vs the Taycan. Having driven the regular EQE and EQS they are really meant for comfort and not for speed

@@MaticTheProto no they do not feel slow. I only feel that they filtered out the direct response on the accelerator pedal in the regular versions, maybe for comfort? Press the accelerator and it ramps up the power unlike a Tesla of some sorts, which are more 'explosive'. I actually prefer the Merc way
