BMW K1200lt, First run, 2024.

Finally....The sun has come out and Big Bertha is getting a run.
I'm starting to think that, as the years roll on, maybe it's just me not wanting to venture forth in the cold and wet that's delaying the onset of the motorcycling season and nothing to do with a wet and miserable Spring.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed the ride out.

Nice wee spin Alistair. I remember Loughbrickland lake in it's prime. It used to produce some really big trout. Shame to see it the way it is now.

Hi Paul. Thanks for watching and commenting. The LT is a lot of bike for the money and there's generally quite a few for sale, so you can pick and choose. With regards to the ABS, I've never had any problems with it and I've put over 40k miles on mine. You may or may not be aware of Kirk Johnson of the Northern Illinois BMW Club. He has a KZbin channel and he mostly specialises on LT's. Anything you want to know about, he's the man. I wish you well in your quest.
