If i may ask, the maintenance of this bike, is it reasonably affordable or you really have to have deep pocket to mantain the bike?

Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. The maintenance of the LT is very reasonable. That is because it requires very little maintenance. I change the engine oil and filter regularly. The filter costs £10(approx) All other service parts are available on eBay for a reasonable price. It's a great bike and easy to maintain.

Yes Derek, the main stocked fish were bigger than normal and the held over fish were definitely lumps of things. The hatchery men changed the food and the fish are doing better on it. I was there last night and caught another two whoppers!

alisair, can you help me please? i have an xj 900 f as per this video. it has been stored 7 mths and runs lumpy now, it will do 70 mph and, surprisingly, tick over but it isn't right (it was fine before, carbs serviced everything) can i get at the jets to clean them without dismantling the whole bank of carbs please? I've put fresh fuel in and some additive.

Ian, I wish I had the answer but unfortunately not. Sorry. I've never needed to do any carb work on the XJ, although, I have to say it most likely is fuel/carb related. Did you have E10 fuel in it before storage? Sorry I can't be of more help 😔

no e5 - what i'm thinking is trying to work out if one cylinder isn't working by testing for heat at the headers but anyway taking the carbs out then checking the jets, quite a to do, but somehow i can't see it healing itself.

Well my dad got me into motorcycles! I first rode when I was 13 off road back in the day! I am 42 now and still ride every day :)

I honestly believe that this current spell of good weather will end up being our summer. It'll break around the middle of June and not return until next May. To be honest, the racing wasn't really ever my scene. Sure, even back in the 80's, we only ever went for the piss up!
