Helpful video, thanks. Some adds fro when I did my bike. The cap has two plastic tabs that both need to be pushed in for easy removal. The other is that I could not get free flow throgh the system until I removed the clutch lever and pulled out the plunger pin. I injected the new fluid from the grub screw port with a syringe, worked fine. Lastly BMW Vitamol V10 hydraulic fluid isn't easy to find (the BMW parts dummies gave me DOT 3 oil), DO NOT USE DOT oil in K1200R clutch! I used Jaguar Mineral Oil LHM they hide the details but its a light SAE10 Mineral Oil (hydraulic Oil) some is green some is dyed blue, KTM motorcycles and Magura systems use the same type of mineral oils.

What's the reason for changing the clutch fluid? It's Mineral oil, and not hydroscopic, and unlike brake fluid it doesn't come in contact with the kind of heat brakes create. The fluid you used to replace the clutch fluid is of a completely different viscosity, then the mineral oil you removed that must have changed the trail of the clutch lever for operation.

+A Smith On the clutch controller you have vent screw you need to open in to remove air from the pipes.

Hi engine itself is OK big issue is with clutch basket and sometimes gearbox might give you some problems... Never buy 2005 model as this one was first release and have lots engineering issues. That's why later they released 1300 which was much better.

Dot4 ma inne właściwości. Dokładnych danych nie znam ale ma to to wpływ wilgotności i temperatura. Układ sprzęgła jest zamknięty i wilgoc się nie dostaje w układzie hamulcowym Dot4 ma za zadanie wchłaniać wilgoc. Mam nadzieję że odpowiedź pomogła...

Krzysztof Kruzel Śrubę kupujesz oryginalna z bmw... Starsze modele mają zwykła śrubę nowsze juz mają śrubki z odpowietrzeniem. Jerzeli chodzi o ABS to przeszedłem przez 2 pompy i wkoncu wywaliłem ABS i przerobilem motor na normalne hamulce.
