BMW M135i N55 GFB DV+ Sound

Yesterday i installed the gfb dv+ in my 2015 435i coupe and i had the same sound. First i thought something was wrong with the instalation, then i read the manual and it said that its usual to heard a diferent sound from intake, speacially an aftermarket intake

xinhua shen sometimes you will. It won’t hurt the car though. It will be a pending code meaning it read wrong for a second but cleared itself because it normal again. I have 50,000 miles on my dv + and zero problems. Pain in the ass to install though

Al Sulaiti yes... for sure especially if you have decent high mileage on your car. The stock one sucks

I have a 2014 bmw 328i aem intakea and gfb dv+ it sounded just like ur for a minute but it hasn't done it again my charge pipe are stock so is the tuning you think that by upgrading my exaust would do any difference?

I don`t know, but it's always good to upgrade your exhaust :D

Question did you do anything special to make it sound the way it does or u just simply installed the gfb dv+ the way it was supposed to be installed?

Hi, I just installed the DV+. The Air Intake is stock. Only the chargepipe is an aluminium Version. Oh, and software tuning.
