you judiciously edit the parts that hard hard - like getting both spacers in for the shock. The steps people really NEED to see you've edited out. Just cut - Oh, it's all in place. ...like magic

Nice video mate. Just one thing to note: the pinch bolt for the knuckle is a one time use bolt and should've been replaced, as well as the top strut mount bolts. All in all, informative video though

Why did you use Swift springs instead of the Ohlins springs with which the suspension normally comes with?

We wanted a slightly softer spring rate for comfort.

I'm very happy with the swift 70/140. I have the 90/190 that came with it, and if I track the car in the future I may swap to them. The 70/140 are plenty firm especially with the adjustability. Can provide an update when i've had it longer, but so far very happy.

I did the same setup on my M2 comp and the height adjustment has been drving me insane. if you set it up like the manual says the car sits at different heights at each corner. I believe because of the swift springs is why I'm encountering this. I've had to set much more preload in the passenger rear then the driver. I had 10mm spacers and the side of the tire was rubbing the front fenders on a good dip or bumb. So I switched to 5mm in the front and still rubbing so I'm going to raise the height a bit. But with the swift springs I've been going down the rabbit hole.

The rear doesn't look Coil over. The shock and spring look separate?

On the BMW FX platform, only the front "MacPherson strut" is a true coilover. The rear isn't because of the chassis, no matter which aftermarket brand you go with.
