Good race! I'm a rookie, for me the BMW M2 is more difficult to drive than the MX-5.

@@erasenson5039 Thank you ... how long you been doing iRacing for ? yes it is harder go control but when you get used to it it's a great car to drive.

​@@SmithersSimRacing I've started around a month ago by setting up a rig in my living room. Like a decade ago I was casually driving in Live for Speed, Asetto Corsa and also have tried iRacing but I had a bad setup with loose pedals, wich killed the fun for me. After I realized I coul't do anything about it at that time, I just dumped my wheel into my storage. Watching simracing channels like yours really got me back to it.

@erasenson5039 I been doing sim racing for about a year and half I used to play Asetto corsa alot but got into iRacing about a year ago, I like iRacing for the skill matchmaking but not the money you have to pay for content, so have you sorted your peddles now ? What's your set up?

@@SmithersSimRacing Yeah iRacing comes with a lot to pay for. But I'ts also very unique in what it offers. At least for right now I'm good with the rookie content. I'm not sure where to go further but I think I might stick to road cars or some GT class. In In the past I had my T300 clamped on the table with the pedals positioned loose on the ground. Back at that time I got the basic Fanatec loadcell pedals and applying braking pressure would often move the whole pedalset, wich was throwing me off while driving. Now I am using a simlab P1X pro with a tripple 32" setup and I have to say it makes a huge difference in having a dedicated and sturdy sitting position. I have mounted the simagic P1000 pedals with a couple of upgrades out of the box and their DS-8 Shifter. For the wheelbase I am still on my good old thrustmaster T300. Looking forward to upgrade to probably a simagic directdrive in a couple of months. What setup are you using? Btw. I can see your one and a half year iRacing experience right away just from watching the BMW M2 racing footage.

@@erasenson5039 I have done the GT3 class a lot and find that you loose a lot of SR/IR with how many idiots are in the Ferrari Challenge. My set up is a Moza R9 with the SR-P Pedals and triple Asus 27" monitors, I have just put up my first race of the season in the BMW .
