I have a m240 and will say it, m2 is better. The m240 is a wanna-be m2 but still, I love it. 540whp e40 tune. Port injection coming soon. Oh and if the m2 ever gets awd, I will get one.

M2 is better overall but for me personally I’m never going to the track. Just backroads on the weekends shifting a 6 speed. But also it’s cheaper. But it shouldn’t have that m badge

It’s not that the m240i is a better car then the m2 obviously, it’s just that the engine is better , more reliable , more power easily, and less and cheaper maintenance, that includes breaks tires suspension etc …

M2 Comp > M240i > M2 when it comes to engine. always shocks me that the base M2 doesn't have an S55

The N55 is just fine for what it is. An entry level M. There are a ton of M2 Comps, M3s and M4s for whoever needs more power (which you can’t easily put down unless on very well maintained roads)

@@azizdrives a draggy 0 to 60 1/4 mile times and so on everyone watches the review of the car but really are waiting for the true performance figures they love the car inside and out but what can this car do. Most people fast forward to the car they have chosen to find out how fast is it for the money I am paying. That's what most people look for. Performance facts, Cars style interior and exterior = interest but the buck stops with what can I expect when I floor the gas pedal .

Cute but stage 1 is not enough he needs a DP resonator delete straight pipe and a TU pump to be on stage 2+ that’s when you really release the b58 potential

showing the license plates with an illegal opf modification is not the best idea. If you hold the downshift paddle a litte bit longer he shifts automaticly to the lowest possible gear. i have the same car with mhd stage 1 & xhp stage 3, 440hp and 620nm

It's not even remotely close to an M2 it's so far from an M2 it's like comparing my Corvette to a Prius they give you skinny bicycle tires on the m240i it doesn't handle anywhere near what an M2 handles like the motor has pistons

@@azizdrives who cares if it's all-wheel-drive the suspension is nowhere near as good do your research bro look at the reviews look at the difference in the cornering power look at the difference in the suspension the stock m240i has bicycle tires and a cheap garbage suspension withcoffee can pistons they can't hold any power it's not faster than the M2 you're completely wrong look at the times on any track and it gets smoked it's too heavy it's too slow and it has bicycle tires do you know what bicycle tires are 225 run flat tires are garbage do your research one of these things I'm not biased in anyway mine happens to be before they totally screwed the design and put on the cheap run flats it's impossible now to get decent tires and wheels unless you get the ETK package do you even know what the ZTK packages is - the last thing it's governed to like 100 miles an hour because it has run flats 😂😂😂

@@azizdrives come on we're not talking about engines we're talking about the B-58 which has coffee can pistons but mainly the suspension is defective it has terrible suspension because unless you get the ZTK package you don't get all the good things that's the thing you're not realizing the ZTK package has everything you won't get because it's almost impossible to get you dispute that ? you obviously have not tracked the car on any track tell me which tracks you've raised it on compared to the M2 ? 😂😂😂

@@azizdrives without the ZTK package you don't get proper cooling you don't get proper brakes you don't get proper suspension and for sure you don't get proper wheels and tires before you make comments do your research - the simple fact is is that BMW dumb down the m240i because they don't want it to compete and it doesn't compete it as defective suspension it has defective brakes and it has defective wheels and runfkat bicycke tires unless you spend $3000 for the ZTK - justin cornering alone it's mind-boggling we're talking .9 G barely if you're lucky with the optional tires and the M2 your 1.05 G

Any modification to the powertrain of the car will invalidate your warranty. If you're worried about that just wait until it comes out of warranty and then do the mods

@@oliver3699 Yes it will be detectable. Once they plug that computer in your car they will be able to see everything that was done. They probably won't care unless you're going there to get work done under warranty, at which point they will obviously argue that you modifying the car caused it to fail therefore invalidating your warranty

M2 is mutch better handling and breaking car on the track, DCT gearbox is faster and more brutal than 8speed ZF in m240. Besides M2 looks and sounds way better.

My friend ur wrong the ZF8 is miles ahead of the DCT whether it’s tuned or stock and the m2 Carry’s the n55 a shit motor compared to the b58 in ever circumstance besides maybe sound cuz that’s preference based

@@G20Gabe zf8 is slower, boring and mutch less fun than dct. B58 is better engine but it's not milles ahead over n55 and n55 sounds better, not to mention steering , handling and looks which are mutch superior than m240.

@@karolmaciejewski340 it is definitely miles ahead of the n55 the b58 fbo is simply down pipe and tune too get that same power on an n55 u need charge pipe intercooler and intake on top of the down pipe and tune too still not make more power and also be less reliable that’s miles ahead. ZF8 speed is definitely not slower I’ve driven a dct there fun but the second u tune a ZF8 it becomes way better then a dct and already alone is Better
