Blue M4 from assist is absurd. Impressive performance
I think everybody can understand from the video that new M4 is heavy as tank, not so willing to steer and unpredictable in corner exit. It's the worst BMW M3/4 ever made.

I do take the performance with a pinch of salt since the older M4 was modified more significantly (either "Maou" Hot version spec or something closer to that). Either way, i still think BMW has a long way to go. Not just in weight but in looks definitely. I will say this, I'm excited for the AWD option at least.

@@daliborzak2485 The s58 is the best engine ever to be put in an m3/4. The suspension and brakes are meant for road use primarily. No shit it's not as potent on the track as the Maou spec f82 lol

Terrible oversteer on the new model, plus its an Auto lol.
This would’ve been a good one to have the subtitles on. That M4 Competition is an ugly car. Who thought that big snorter of a front grill was a good look?! Neither was I impressed by the way it handled. Fine for drifting, not so much for going around a course quickly.

@@arapaimagold8088 haven’t driven one, don’t care to, but what’s that going to prove? 99% of the people that do drive these cars aren’t going to drive them the way these guys are. And of those who try how many of them are going to do so with the DSC off? I can see how it drives without doing so myself. These guys were spending more time keeping the rear end of the car from leading than anything else. Even the Demon they drove seemed more controllable than this M4. But I remember the E46 M3 being this way too. For some reason BMW thinks loose is fast if you have electronics doing all the driving. The old M4 was a little boring in the appearance dept but at least it could be considered tasteful. Those kidney grills go from the hood to the valance which is out of the realm of tasteful. But everyone is allowed to think for themselves on what’s attractive. I’m sure someone out there thinks Amy Schumer is a hottie after all.

@@coryholbrook4643 Then you don't understand the tech. It has a smart Diff for a reason. If you just turn it all off then your losing that capability. I own one. These are not the fastest with everything off your handicapping the engineering with it off. Now I can't understand it, but I am curious if they drove it 20/80 split or 40/60 split. There are a lot of modes in this car that completely change how you want to drive it. DK drove it in drift (RWD) mode for a reason to see what it would do, and then turned on AWD and did a faster lap.
