@@b.c.92 Calibration of speedometer NOK. It happens when someone sets in hidden menu bigger diameter of wheel than in reality...or owner has lower profile of tire/or good profil, but narrower tire than stock car should has. All three cases lead to differences between GPS.

@@b.c.92 well a cars speedometer pretty much never going to be exactly accurate as gps speedometers are this is quite and old car and sensors and things get more inaccurate with age plus it calculates the cars speed by the speed of the wheels so this will change depending on the diameter of the wheel which is why huge off-roaders with giant tires speedometers are basically completely useless because they’re so out

S6 mode is _really_ not recommended for that kind of driving. In S5 (with DTC on) it's perfectly comfortable and still 90% as fast.

@@fadedsoul23 S1-6 are manual shifting modes. DTC is Dynamic Traction Control. S6 mode, essentially a sequential shift at wide open throttle, is only available with traction control off. In S5 and with DTC on the shifts are very smooth and precise, given the clutch is adapted properly.

BMW should have designed a lightweight supercar to put this engine in... It seems almost wasted in a near 2 ton estate... even if that estate is super cool. The speedo is so wildly optimistic I doubt this car car could ever get beyond 300kph.

Jesus that sounds good!! I have come so so close many times buying an M6.. my current daily is a 630i but the M6 is never far from my thoughts.. Looked at 2 so far, but both had various issues that needed sorting. And then there’s the infamous rod bearing issue & SMG transmission problems, etc etc… As a daily driver, I’m not sure it would be a wise purchase.. But oh boy, they do sound good!

This sounds like it must be the IPE F1 setup... so much more TONE of sound vs the Eisenmann which is just louder but no more tuneful than stock imo. However to truly achieve an eargasm one must go the long tube header route and only then add the IPE setup for this truly unleashes the noise within (even headers and rear muffler mod does nicely). On top of that a remap with the headers alone equals an extra 35bhp and a curing of the notable mid range torque hole and it still sounds amazing without being obnoxious!
