BMW M8 GranCoupe Venom-Wild M8 by Ramon Performance
From the driver's seat, life is less dramatic as the 617-hp twin-turbo V-8 BMW M8 Gran Coupe snarls and spits from under its hood. The M8 can reach speeds of 190 mph, so the thrills are undoubtedly outrageous, but it's also quite good at offering comfort from the inside and quickly blurring what's beyond the windows. Gear shifts are managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission, and although though the M8 is all-wheel drive exclusively, it has a rear-drive mode that bears the brunt of mishaps and burnouts. Though the M8 Gran Coupe has four doors instead of just two, it nevertheless performs the same functions as the coupe and convertible M8, but its extra room doesn't make up for its dull handling and occasionally overly aggressive ride. Though operating a rocket ship of this magnitude requires certain compromises, we still find the Mercedes-AMG E63 and Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing to have superior dynamics, sound, and handling than the M8.
