Now that the old boss thankfully is back from retirement at dodge, the rumors are he's going to put powerful V8s back in, so just hopefully he'll go with a hybrid V8 with all-wheel drive including very powerful versions with at least 1500 or more horsepower to compete with the upcoming Zora, which rumors are saying even on pump gas is going to be all wheel drive with an upgraded and uprated ZR1 engine combined with two very powerful front EV Motors that will put out well over 1500 horsepower just on standard 93 octane pump gas... and so with full bolt ons on ethanol with straight piped exhaust those Zoras could be getting close to 2000 horsepower no problem .. so Dodge really needs to step it up, not to mention the Next Generation BMW 8 series or 6 Series M competition models are probably going to be hybrids with extremely powerful setups that will make even this M8 look very slow..

If your Hellcat runs 12's you need to figure out why... Hellcats should be running in the 10's minimum! A scat pak should run high 11's to mid 12's and that's just a 6.4L N/A!

@EPICYELLOWHORSE This is first-hand info from mostly freeway speed, so from around 60 to whatever speed. Tires aren't that big of a deal. My car runs 10s, and these can't even keep up. I drove my friends gt500 and helcat. The cat is much slower than that even. And before you try to claim I have something against them, I don't . I actually like the looks and love the sound. And not a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge guy, but I love all cars.

None of the cars are running their best. I’ve seen stock M5s run 10.6x. The M8 should be a little lighter and has the same drivetrain, so 10’s should be easy. The Hellcats should be doing mid 11’s on street tires, low 11’s or high 10’s on drag radials.
