I've got most of my N55 engine on my 2011 535i disconnected. Im just left to disconnect the transmission and hopeful pull it out. I did not remove the front grill, rad etc but will hopefully get the hood disconnected to lift it straight up. Its been a long process. Im in Canada with -35 most of winter and no heated shed so has been a 3 season project. Everything is marked and thanks to your channel I will have assistance to reassemble it. Thank you so much. Great work.

Great job! I have to pull my N55 out of my 2011 535I rwd. It'll be a little easier, but for more room to pull the motor forward, I'm going to take off the whole from end. I went to change a warped valve cover and found why it was warped in the 1st place. My #4 cylinder spark plug was stripped and forced down into the chamber, causing a high level of heat to build in that 1 area. I gotta remove the head and let a machine shop do their work. Going to replace vacuum hoses and upgrade the plastic pipes from turbo and charge pipes, to aluminum alloy. Also going to upgrade the intercooler while i have it out. Great job on the video! Will definitely help out a lot when i go to pull mine!! Much love and God bless
