I have a 2011 550i with an oil leak. I haven't really looked around on the engine to see where it is coming from but I can smell it and I had to add oil just recently. The leaking oil is not reaching the ground. I just purchased the car and I bought a 3 year warranty. But I wanted to get your opinion as to what and where it could be leaking from? Thanks for any advice. Great video by the way.

Are the replacement parts of the same low-quality as the original BMW parts?

apparently yes but you can buy heatshield sleeves to put over those lines so the same thing doesnt happen again.

Hey Euro...did this repair on wife’s 2011 X6 50i...after repair when I rev to high RPM it is triggering limp mode...but no code...if I stop vehicle and turn off and restart it goes away but comes back if rev over 4000 rpm....thinking leak on air induction??? Is there a spray can use to try to locate leak on induction or any suggestions??

id say yes. but changing the metal gasket could work also.

Marc, Question I have a 2008 bmw 650i with only heated seats. Can I grab the seats from a 2012 with air/heat and put them in my car and make them work?

The seat ventilation is only good for chilli farts. You can also lift 1 butt chick up for 10 seconds and get the same effect

I need to replace that hose, it's leaking coolant slowly from the top/left (passenger side). When the engine gets hot, there's some steam coming out. I replace the ones on top that route over the alternator about 2 years ago. Did you ever replace that 3way hose?
