The bike has good performance for a tourer. I recently rode one but it had very serious vibrations above 5000 RPM that got worse through redline. Seemed like it needed a tune up really bad. How are the vibrations at redline on your bike?

Got it from dealership when it had 1500 miles, now it has 22000 - runs like new :) Engine is made to run in low RPM, makes great torque from bottom. Guys put injectors from a newer 1200, engine runs smoother.

Never. Oil services, replacement of cardan shaft seal ~10k m. One failure, plastic fuel line connector broke.

What was rattling so much on the offroad part?

From what I remember, I put the microphone under seat. We could hear the mud from tire, Pirelli Scorpion Trial so it threw well :)

@@dobrylolo4087 that explains it. The bike I rode had just over 20k miles and had strong vibrations at high engine RPM but the plastics didn't rattle at all (but did shake a lot at 7k RPM). I only rode it on the street and it was smooth at low RPM with a surge at 3250.
