Couldn't agree more, buddy. This is what some of our "colleagues" don't understand - we all as a motorbike community have to try being less selfish. If only for the simple fact that if we keep annoying others, the 'law' will eventually come crashing down on us. We really don't need to give the governments, police, local councils, etc. even more reasons to restrict our beloved sport even more.

I guess he blurs because this way they can't tell at how much he was going over the speed limit, since you can lose your driving license or go to jail for driving at a certain speed over the limit (more than 150kph in a 100kph zone for example). When he blurs they don't have any evidence to withdraw his driving license or take him to jail. All they can do is fine him for speeding or for a basic rule violation like "Too fast for conditions".

I really liked your message at the end. It's all about balance. It's kinda awesome to ride freely and fast and have loud exhausts because it excites you as the rider, but it probably annoys and may scare others around you. So you have to balance it in a way where you're not being a public menace. But you also don't have to kill your passion and be sterile. Riding a motorcycle in modern days isn't really the most rational and safe thing, which is kind of the point. It's an exciting and passionate activity. You have to throw rationality and logic a little bit out the window to have fun. But don't do it at the expense of others' enjoyment and peace. More people have to understand this
@zibingotaeam37164 жыл бұрын
Rationally, motorcycles are far more environmentaly beneficial than cars. Less fuel used, less traffic jams caused compared to almost any car. The world would be a better place if more people rode to work on a 650 or smaller instead of alone in an SUV.

Sometimes you can win a lot of HP and lose a few KGs by switching to a full racing exhasut (decat, loud, illegal AF). But if you don't fight for each tenth of a second I would always consider how many track days/sets of tires can you buy for some fancy catback.

ANyway, I've found a solution that involves running a lav mic under the seat and leaving the cable out so I can plug it into a ZOOM recorder and hit record. Also love the idea about using a sound marker as a sync point. Till now I've favoured the old hand clap, but this is usually before I've even got on the bikes...
