Own an R18, the B looks great. Had mine just about two years now, very happy with it. Probably similar age to you Shaun. Think you’ve got to reach that stage in life when you appreciate and value what big cruisers bring to road riding pleasure, things like comfort, road presence, effortlessness. The polar opposite of say …….a KTM1390 Superduke. In todays ever congested, heavily speed restricted camera mad world they make more and more sense, to me anyway.

Absolutely agree 100% and for me it's also more of an occasion riding the R18 👍🏍

You two are going down the custom Harley road. Which is the only way and you will not regret it i promise you. They are beautiful machines. As you both Toure you need to have one whith a good range. As Harley's aren't very good. (Only let down). But whith planning it can be achieved... nice calm way of Touring believe me... take both and stay safe x

I've got a Gravity Blue R18B and absolutely love it; just added the Wunderlich sissy bar and back-rest and my wife really appreciates the comfort of having it. Cost of Wunderlich kit is a bit on the high side but the quality of finish and how well it fits makes it worthwhile. R18 is a big heavy bike but centre of gravity is low and the bike is really well balanced, plus you have the option of reverse gear to help you out of the odd sticky situation. Definitely a bike for reasonably experienced riders but if you approach it with respect rather than fear then it's a bike most riders will really enjoy. Thanks for another excellent video Tins 🙂

The size on them heads on the R 18 though, not seen one before though thats a fair lump of an engine. The storm were a pain but I am glad to have missed most of it otherwise I'd of most likely been blown about whilst on my way to work xD some cracking bikes there like
@TinsonTour8 ай бұрын
Haha great for resting your legs on , no in all honestly it's a cracking bike albeit a heavy bike but because the weights so low down u don't really notice it .

From a channel point of view I found the cruiser to be shocking. I loved my Harley but absolutely no one wanted to see it. It just didn’t get the views. I sold it and I’ve regretted it ever since. The noise, the event of riding it was just amazing. I need to get another one. Stupid I know but, it’s the best I’ve ever felt on a bike. Manchester Harley is reopening you should borrow one of them. I bet you will both be hooked.
@TinsonTour8 ай бұрын
Yeah agreed the views when we've done a Harley vid where terrible although only rode 2 but same with the BMW r18 but to me i much prefer the riding sensation from them ... eh ho that's KZbin for you , is the Manchester Harley the 1 not far from old Trafford?

You can get phone cases with velcro straps to wear on your wrist, runners use them, for those times when there is no way to clamp a bracket to handlebars. Always pretty useful for on your elecy MTBs as well I reckon. Not that I am any kind of expert on bicycles with my lardarse.

Hi Shaun + Faye, What can I say, but what a nice bike possibly a BMW take on a Harley Davidson , it looks the part in my opinion. Just made it back to base before storm Kathleen kicked off. I thought at the start of the video this was going to a Honda video the four wheel type doing car vids now. Catch you both soon Take care ride or drive safe
