BMW R1150 GS Suspension Service | Rebuilding the fork stanchion on an Oilhead BMW.

I repair my leaking suspension fork seals on my BMW R1150 GS, in my cheapest Oilhead BMW GS I could find on the internet series.
Backstory: I've bought it as a project motorcycle so that I could start adventure motorcycle riding and become an Adventure Bike Rider, bringing another element to this channel. I need to mention I bought it off the internet without seeing it for £2295 and this was the cheapest at the time and that's because It had no service history with it, so this is all a new experience and an exciting one at the same time.

The harness is an absolute state, I didn’t really delve deep before but now that I have, I can really see the toll time takes on a harness that’s constantly subjected to heat 😬. I’ve got a load of clear heat shrink, some new harness tape and I’ll be ordering some black heat shrink because of what I’ve noticed after taking a deeper look 😄
