Great work and great memory for recalling where every one of the various bracket, bolts and pipes all went. Another bike saved 👍

@@petermosdell580 thanks Peter. Must admit had two bolts left over but out of the hundreds on there I'm calling that a win 👍

Quick tip, drill a small hole in the gearbox casing underneath the clutch slave cylinder. The cylinders are prone to leaking and the fluid wrecking an otherwise fine clutch plate. The hole lets fluid drain out of it does leak, saving the clutch and lets you know there’s a problem you otherwise would have known nothing about

@@simplestuff3895 great tip, too late for me unfortunately but hopefully someone will read this and will benefit. 👍

If you don’t want to drill the weep hole in your transmission case, you can use a rotary file (dremel) to cut a groove in the mounting face of the slave cylinder instead. That way you can return it to stock configuration in the future just by replacing the slave cylinder.

I had one as well. An insane number of weird idiosyncrasies. Had to do the clutch twice in 25,000 miles. Simply is not worth it when you can buy a Japanese model with 98% of the features and almost no problems.
