Another cracking vid, bike looks ace and seems to do most things really well 👍🏻 Absolutely agree with the Conti tyres, I've used race attacks on track for the last couple of years and run trail attack 3's on the road bike, superb all rounders. Thanks for sharing, enjoyable and informative as always 🙂🏍️👍🏻

Great review. Nearly everything you mention applies to my 2021 R NineT too. Same engine obvs. I do love that little TFT screen though and think BMW has really tidied up the rear end on this model over mine. It’s been great seeing you out and about on this, there’s hardly any content on this model and can see you loved it. Great job

Had mine for a month and love it. Looks awesome and rides beautifully. You can potter along enjoying the scenery, or give it some and it feels great either way. After a 1000 mile month I am soon going to park up for the winter as its too pretty to use, but can't wait for a full summer next year.

Just traded my RR in for one of these as there’s a good saving against if you can find a demonstrator. I test rode one at a bmw day and really enjoyed it. I typically ride sports bikes or hooligan machines (I have an MT10) but really looking forward to bimbling along on the R12 Nine T and throwing it around corners with all that torque. It’s sort of an uncomplicated bike where I’ll just jump on it and ride whereas the sports bikes tend to be an event every time you ride them…

Thank you for your review! I have to decide between this R12 ninet (that i love for aesthetic!!) and R1250R. I’ll use it for free time and for summer vacation (for example starting from home in tuscany and go in Dolomites or similar, 10/15 days..). In your opinion, maybe with a bigger windshield, can be suitable for my usage? Thank you!!

Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience with the bike. I bought mine earlier this summer and have been racking up miles ever since. Coming from an MG V7 stone, this engine feels very different and operates with very different characteristics. Is it just me or does it feel like the bike's pick-up from 1st gear lacks power? If I start releasing the clutch under 2000-3000 rpm, there's always a feeling that the engine might stall. Is this normal on boxer engines? With the v-twin it always felt like there's plenty of power for to bike to move from standstill without the need for higher gas inputs.

I've just done 3,000 kilometres on mine. It is a quality machine which is always a pleasure to ride. My main gripe is that it isn't really suited to much of my daily riding, not the bike's fault. But at slower speeds in urban environments and with new, lower speed limits, the engine breaking is extreme in first gear and the power isn't in the right place for this type of riding. Very low down in the rev range, the bike is unhappy. I find that as a result I'm only getting 29 mpg! The lack of a fuel gage is annoying and there are some very minor niggles such as the side stand position and the fiddly steering lock, but overall a fantastic machine to hoon and enjoy. All the same, I'm trading it in for the upcoming Tiger 800 Sport next March, which I'm betting on being the sweet spot bike!

Can you pass more comment on the pillion comfort aspect of the bike please? I fell in love with the previous model however as 99% of the time I take a pillion the small seat made it a non-starter.
