I'm in the process of getting out the YT video of how to trigger/read and record all these different TPMS modules so they work as our bike is designed.

My R1200RS manual says 9 nm for the RDC sensor installation bolt.
@Boxflyer114 жыл бұрын
Excellent! I knew it was a very low value, about the same as the valve cover bolts at 10Nm.

@@Boxflyer11 My last service in the dealer they spilled brake fluid on the rear final drive and had to replace it, i've also just drained 1/4 of a litre of oil from the engine overfilled lost all confidence so after watching your videos i bought all the timing tools for the next service 12,000 ml and i will do it myself thanks to you 👍🏻

@@geomoto599 I just got the OEM Cam Timing tools for the new R1250RT ShiftHead and will begin working on them as well...I have no idea when I will find time to do a KZbin video on the 1250 valve service, but that's my hope.

What's the benefit of fitting these wheels?

As mentioned in the Description above, I was wasting good rubber by changing tires when the next trip length dictated that my current tires wouldn't go the distance planned. This last year from April 1st thru the end of October, I rode over 40k miles on my RT and only got surprised once out on an extended trip with the need to change tires at a tire supplier. The cost of installing just these 2 tires was $100, so a significant cost for my riding season if I didn't have several sets of rims/rubber to work with...these rims at a relative cheap price help me when I'm going thru about 6 sets of tires per year. Another answer to your question might be that supply and demand has made it difficult to find R1200RTW rims, so these are other options to convert rims makes them cost effective.
