@@GreaseAndGravel W123 in Europe become very expensive. At least in South Africa they are not badly priced. In Kwazulu Natal I had a 230E automatic. Driving a pretrol engine in Europe is madness. Approximately we pay R16 a liter here 😰

I had a 230E manual in Stellenbosch. Still kicking myself that I sold it. My first car ever was a 1983 200 auto which my dad had from new. Now looking for a 240D with aircon (which is hard to find!)@@mercedes-benzw123 Your vids are going to come in handy when I get one again :)

I'll go for a 300D too, whichever is in better condition@@mercedes-benzw123 I mainly drive in a very small town and never exceed 50-60 mph. So the simplicity (one less cyl) and economy is a plus in the 240D. But honestly, I'll take any W123 with a working AC which is hard to find here :)

I've got the Touratech box (it came with the bike). It is handy for keeping my tire patch and pump kit and some other odds and ends in.
