Ha Old Mechanic, De clip heeft mij goed geholpen met het vervangen van de olie in de final drive. Bij de DOHC versie moet ook de versnellingsbak olie vervangen worden. Nergens kan ik een filmpje vinden van het LC model. Ook documentaties hierover zijn lastig te vinden. Is hier opheldering over te geven? Met vriendelijke groet, Mr. D

No. You could. It's fairly thick oil. Takes a few min to drip.

So you weren't tempted/ inspired {since you unnecessarily removed the rear wheel} to inspect and grease the final drive splines? So how often do you grease the final drive splines this seems like an appropriate second question? BMW suggest by omission this isn't a necessary service function, but judging by internet / youtube failures of final drives and splines rusting it does give cause to disagree.
