A nice helpful video. Thanks. Regarding the lowered foot pegs, did you also have to replace the foot brake lever as there's no height adjustment on the standard one?

Hi, both gear and brake are adjustable. For the rear brake you adjust the pedal on the pushrod going into the brake cylinder.

A superbly made video! 💎 Your review covered practically everything I was interested to know specially the observations on the noises you captured from the front tyre. I got my eyes on a pre owned one to commute to work from Southend to Dagenham every day winter or summer. Unless ULEZ is eventually scrapped I have no better choice than getting a commuting motorcycle. I’m concerned about how does it perform during strong winds. Have you experienced a ride under strong winds time? I’ll be interested to know if the weight helps to keep the rider more stable.

Hi I have ridden in strong winds and it is very stable, I should have mentioned that it is an incredibly well balanced bike, it’s one of its best characteristics.

Helpful video for me, thanks. I've had my R1200GSA a few weeks now and TBH, I'm a bit underwhelmed by it. One of the main reasons I bought it was because of knee pain and needed a much less cramped riding position than any of my other bikes. So, as you also found out, the ergonomics of the bike are not actually that forgiving on the knees! I've had the Cool Cover on a previous bike and will get another for this one; I've already got he same Wunderlich risers and noticed the improvement in comfort, I now just need to get me a set of those lower footpegs and then I might start to like this bike a bit more!! Which lower pegs did you get and were they a straightforward fit?

Hi Martin I’m glad the video was helpful. The foot pegs are Wunderlich from Nippy Norman. Here’s the link. www.nippynormans.com/footpeg-lowering-kits/wunderlich-rider-footpeg-lowering-f750gs850gs850-adventure-r1200gs-lc-2013-on-2017-on-r1250gs-r1200-adventure-r1250-adventure
