Great idea. I do a similar thing by running power from the forward power socket into a tank bag. Usually, I'll charge my power bank while riding. Cheers, man!

Hello Sir. I have had these side bags for over a year now. I'm very pleased with them. I found mine not to be waterproof (I didn't think they would be). But after riding all day through various storms the bags only let a couple of drops in. I keep my puncture gear in one side and some tools in the other. I rarely leave my bike parked for long so security so an issue for me. Thanks for another excellent video

I bought the same tool bags from Ali Express for my trip round Italy, fitted a socket set, Torqs set easily along with T bar and Ratchet 🤙

Perhaps you can consider the "adventure windshield support" for the 1200 GS. My second hand beemer from 2008 came with it installed. Not sure if its original BMW or AliExpress, but it gives you a 16mm bar to put your navigation, phone or perhaps the chigee on there. It might be a hit or miss with the fitment. My 1200 GS (not adventure) also came with the adventure windshield.

additionally you could connect this socket to deliver 12V only when bike is running to avoid draining battery of the bike if you forget to disconnect the phone when you stop

hello Sir I noticed on your bike your seat is quite lower than mine did you have it adapted / altered for a lower profile.........mine's on the lowered setting and I find myself sliding forward towards the tank.........also on long journeys a little uncomfortable......please your thoughts on this..........best of wishes. and great to see you back ....

Just set your the front of your seat to the high position, the rear to the low position. So the seat will be straight and you not gone slide forward. That's my way to ride since I have the bike

Sorry for my terrible late respond. My seat is extremely lowered by the previous owner. Its round as you see. Although its for my length great but after riding about 2 hours my bum starts to hurt like hell... 👍🏻👊🏻😉

Sorry 😊 but can I ask you a random question, with regards to having brake failure on my bike, the brakes work perfectly even without having bleeding my abs pump, it used to come on occasionally when everything was working including my abs, and if I stopped for a couple of minutes it would disappear, I promise not to ask you anything else 😊... well until my motoscan arrives 😂
