I have another tank bag now the www.enduristan.com sandstorm 4a it's truly water proof the 3a model is very good, the other one I'm considering which serves dual propose is the Mosko motto, I just got their soft bags, and their Nomad tank bag is is an excellent choice (their are tons of vids on YT) moskomoto.com/collections/moto-camping-luggage/products/nomad-tank-bag I go mountain biking and I can take it with me and use it on the GSA as well

I had the same tank bag on my KTM 990 Adv. I used a waterproof roll bag for inside from Cabbalas to keep things dry. The bags from Giant Loop are not waterproof but the back bags have waterproof liners.

+RETICS1 I cut a whole out in the front installed a quick connect power connector, i think that's where the water was coming in from. I'm going to water seal it this spring. Thanks

+Lucas Boyden one of there many things I like about the bike is the ability to lower the suspension when you're on off road surfaces and you're going very slow, I can firmly plant both feet and maintain the bike upright. Once on pavement raise the suspension

+Rob Fern The bike works great, it has far more capabilities than I have to match it. Does great in the rain and even better in dry conditions I'm talking it on the auto train and heading to Miami Beach soon

I'm so glad that BMW came out with a lower suspension model at 5'7 it's a lot easier for them to come out with this model than me grow longer legs
