Hi click the CC Symbol onscreen for full narrative of this video.
Welcome to my Channel hope you enjoy this video which we made on a very cold and snowy Scottish winters day, whilst on our Sunday ride out.
Our routes that day were challenging with the cold temperatures and ice in some patches of the road.
Your viewing in this video is of Glen Lyon, Perthshire, Scotland as we ride Southwards towards Killin.
With it's magnificent curvy single track roads and 360' stunning scenery, hopefully it will give you the appetite to also ride this route one day.
There's wonderful scenes and sites to be viewed in this Glen as we ride from Brig of Balgie after a nice lunch at the Post Office cafe. (call ahead for a table)
We then ride south towards Loch Tay passing Ben Lawers Hydro-Electric Dam and Lochan na Lairige (Loch) enroute.
The guys hadn't long got their new R1300GS BMW's and were looking forward to putting some miles on them instead of just looking at them.
I'm out riding all Sundays rain hail or snow as you will know if you follow my Channel so it was good to see a few of them out braving the mid Scottish winter in Perthshire.
"Roads less Travelled" videos on this channel are designed to provide the opportunity for adventure motorcyclists to ride their mid and large capacity motorcycles on both sealed roads and unsealed roads in Scotland appreciating its magnificent scenery.
Not to mention the sometimes challenging routes we follow along the way and quaint places we come across.
I hope you enjoyed the video as much as we enjoyed making it.
Thanks for watching and please Subscribe.
Cheers Caledonian Biker.
