Actually I own a R nine T....I love it, and was very anxious about the R 18, but I am looking for a cruiser for my long tours. This is unfortunately not an option for a comfortable long ride. 😢

I really like this bike. I have owned everything from Honda's to Harley's. I have never opened a BMW. I wonder what the price is and the price for service and parts.

Too bad the fuel tank is too small and gives too little autonomy, and an ugly line to the bike, I do not take and I keep my BMW R1250RS!

Two not dependable bikes in comparison for Art? To much to say but not me. I believe in dependability, both companies have been lacking in this area. Good luck with all the Artistic soul praises but make your Art dependable. While you do that I will look elsewhere.

This a beautiful bike ,,,, BUT I think BMW have made one of the biggest mistakes of there lives ,,, we have for more important things to think about right now in the world ,, the first bikes will appear in the shops in September 2020 and the world will be in a huge recession at that stage and the banks will not be giving fiance for motorcycles ,this bike will not sell well for many years to come as the money just wont be there to buy it ,,, and also at 22.000 plus euros ,it is NOT cheap.

@@markmcanallen9662 I 100% agree the world is not coming to an end ,,BUT I think it will be a long time before the finances of the world get back to running well again, do you remember the 70,s and 80,s do you remember WW2 the depression afterwords ,,this is what I am talking about ,the money just wont be there next year to buy such luxury's as large Motorcycles , Europe might see a very tough time for many years as will the USA .I still think BMW have made a very big mistake launching this beauty at this time of great turmoil in the world , but hopefully we will all get through it and still be alive to enjoy this R18

Can't comment on it's performance but looks wise don't even come close to a Harley..... a heap of metal and rubber .....versus a real bike ! Lacks detail.....a surgery room versus a cozy living room....
