The E90 320i N46, 2011 model doesn't seem to have electric water pump. Tried bleeding it, only to find out that the N46 does not have electric water pump.

Hi, my bleeder screw broke yesterday the one on top of the reservoir, is there a reason of this other than an old plastic screw? Should I check other things? Or I should only replace it

So is the auxiliary water pump used for bleed procedure? N46 engine seems to have mechanical coolant pump driven by engine. Meanwhile, in my case auxiliary pump is dead. Engine works just fine, but I couldn't start the bleed procedure.. Ended up just starting engine and bleeding through those bleed screws while it was idling (disclaimer: don't take this as advice, but rather a question.. I still don't know if it won't overheat once I try say highway driving).

I have a bmw 325i 2006 . recently i had oil flow into my coolant reservoir. We changed the oil filter housing gasket because it was cracked and broken we also changed the electric water pump and sevral coolant hoses , the car runs fine and doesnt overheat it just keeps gushing the water back after a while i can run the car for about 5 minutes with a full water tank before i need to get off and put more please help guys btw there is no more oil in my water reservoir . thank you guys.

This obviously needs to be checked by a mechanic but my guess on what you are describing here sadly sounds like a blown head gasket on your engine.

Cause it's a belt driven on this engine. The sound was a relay
