Yes. Although to longer than I hoped. But it’s just about being familiar with everything. And getting all 4 headers in was fun! The answer was wd40.

Its a tad bit loud for my liking so i put a small baffle in the end can at the end can where the headers meet and its taken the harness out of it..i like the std aka end can to be honest.

Dear Sir, I have the same bike (s1000r 2019) and the exhaust is the only thing I'd change. I tried to remove the baffle but no chance. This is a serious investment but the sound on the over-run, downshift and idle are very impressive. The looks are much better & I would suspect the weight improvement would be evident.

Hey. Should be a link in the video description. I got it form the main distributor but many people stock it. Just get the full titanium pipe and keep the silencer. It sound amazing.

Hi, did you had a chance to measure the db level at 5500 rpm with the setting you have now. I wonder how much it exceeds the stock 94 DB level. I have 2018 model. it tempts me very much to replace the header and remove that ugly cat. Eurocrats are killing the little joy we have left.

Good question no kit yet but I will especially with so much emphasis on sound cameras and clamping down on noisy vehicles. I love this mod do it.

Any problem with under belly fairings hitting headers? I just installed last night and bottom fairing hitting the headers on both side

PetrolHeads London I put some spacers! It was touching on both sides for me! Got some aluminum 1/4 tubing and chopped it into .500 pieces and put it in between the fairing and the clip

not seen just a shorty aka, bit m,y understanding is the cat kills most of the sounds. I love mine expensive but just sounds so rich.

I live in Europe (Italy) and replaced end pipe with sc-project crt... Looks and sounds better (and is legal).... But I so want these headers... Problem is, they constitute an instant mot fail in Italy, and worse, instant bike sequestration and huge fine... How are these headers legal when the cat has disappeared??

No idea but I assume it is a pretty common mod here. I did get a lot of attention in Italy France and especially Spain. Video to come. They are great.

I sorry did lots of digging and some say yes others. No. One dealer told be to swap it back if there was an issue. Anyway I had no issues during warranty.

PetrolHeads London, nice video, nice bike, nice setup. Very useful reference. Have you heard a no cat headers with Akra GP slip-ons? How does that compare sound-wise with your setup? Deciding whether to add to the Akra headers an Akra GP slip-on or just use the stock Akra slip-on. Have read Akra GP slip on plus Akra headers are too loud, but haven't actually heard
