Please see long description: This video is old, so the instructions (brocksperformance.com/content/Instructions/S1000RR/998155.pdf) are updated on the site. You MUST relocate the voltage regulator, regardless of how much you lower the bike. Not moving the regulator can lead to suspension collision issues, damaging the link and potentially causing an unsafe situation.

whats the collision issue you are referring to? in your video lowering 1 inch shows it has enough clearance to be left alone without relocating components

That's no longer the case. As various bike settings and rider/passenger weights will allow interference. Do not operate the bike without following the UPDATED instructions on our Web site in the product overview tab: brocksperformance.com/search.php?search_query=240851

Brock, when are you getting more penta-carbon full exhaust for 2017+ Gsxr1000?
@BrockDavidson4 жыл бұрын
Next week, but if you want one, you should place your order now. It puts you in line in our system. If you wait for the zeros to become + you will be too late. Once we fill all of the backorders, we usually go negative... So the shipment comes in and goes out and in stock quantities stay at zero.

I have a random question Why are there no driveshaft bikes in racing and whats the downfall to trying to build one (race bike with drive shaft). Thank you
@BrockDavidson4 жыл бұрын
Race bikes require frequent gearing changes to perform their best. Drive shafts are not gearing change friendly. Drive shafts also make the rear of the bike raise up under hard acceleration. Drive shafts are maintenance free and great for touring...not racing.

Mr. Brock Where do I find the lowering link for the 2020 BMW s1000rr? Thanks
Annoying the stock rear shock seems like a Dumber idea with the cheaper to mass produce built-in reservoir and adds to clearance & aggravating greif for stupid small tolerances to the battery tray subframe and every other nearby component unlike a aftermarket Remote reservoir shock absorber on the shock zip ties or clamps miles away from the undertray.

There is nothing to show. The stock link has minimal travel, primarily in the taller direction - that's why I invented our lowering link....for those who wish to lower the height of the bike. Is there any concern for the voltage regulator overheating with the reduced airflow in its new position?
@BrockDavidson4 жыл бұрын
I don't like the new placement, but it's all we have right now. For constant street use, drilling some vent holes in the side of the battery tray would be a good idea until we finish our relocation kit.

No idea as I do not have any Moto GP acceleration data. But this article www.mcnews.com.au/motogp-bike-acceleration-figures/ believes a GP-18 runs a 8.99 second 1/4 mile...which is exactly what we ran in the 1/4 mile. If you try to lower the stock length shocks too much, the linkage will bind and you will have zero travel.
@tyethekidАй бұрын
@@BrockDavidsongot it. so if i sit my link to 3” lower in the rear the oem shock will work still i just wont have any travel of suspension correct?
@BrockDavidsonАй бұрын
@@tyethekid The end of the video shows a 3" drop using the stock shock and the associated clearance problems. Our bike was street ridden in this manner and the only damage done was to the inner fender when the the suspension compressed over bumps - the shock works fine, the minimal clearance between the tire/inner fender and bottom of the tail section is the real problem.
