Nice job dude. One of the vids that is about actually helping others instead of trying to act cool. Thanks for being in check!

Getting my 2" kit done in a couple of weeks, just without the strap. That with the "comfort" seat will be perfect! ... and of course it's 50% off now! 🤷🏾♂️😂

Will your lowering kit come with new bearings preinstalled in the link? or at minimum new seals?
@PleadTheFifth_Racing10 ай бұрын
Dumb question but other than seat height what is the advantage of doing the lowering link? Does it help keep the front planted under hard acceleration or improve handling?
@2amProFilms2 жыл бұрын
Damn thats a lot of work for just 2 inches.

Hey man, Are there really huge differences between the normal Seat and the lower Seat? I didn't have a chance to try the low seat yet. 😫😫😫😫

Will the bearings come included with the lowering links to make life easier ?
@BT_Moto Жыл бұрын
No, you’ll use the OEM bearings in your link and transfer them over. Easy process and keeps the cost down as the OEM bearings are better than anything else in the aftermarket world, but expensive.

Looking for a 1" guide / instructions and can't find it anywhere. What will be the difference between 1" and 2" instructions?

Difference is you don’t have to cut for the 1”

BUY THE BEARING TOOL!!!!! Do not try to do this job without the proper tools. 3/8 for the T55 on the top bolt in the link (you won’t have enough space with a 1/2. Even if you remove the subframe Careful with the center stand. Once the weight of the bike is on the center stand, it can get wobbly, lower it if you get to that point.

Which bearing tool you go with? Any cheaper option other than this motion pro $170 bs?
@devinlamberty46049 ай бұрын
@@Babyjonjon10I didn’t have a tool. And I paid for it. It ended up taking 2 days. I eventually used 120mm socket, a 19mm socket, a piece of wood, and a C-clamp to make my own tool. Not fun
@Babyjonjon109 ай бұрын
Did you just run with what you had or looked around and couldn’t find an actual bearing press?
@devinlamberty46049 ай бұрын
@@Babyjonjon10 I bought one on Amazon and I thought I got what he had in the video. It ended up not working. I found the link with the actual tool he has in the video. My luck, it was out of stock when I lowered my bike. So yeah pretty much, I ran with what I had. I snapped my 3” C-clamp trying to get the needle bearing. Went back to harbor freight, got me a 5” C-clamp and that didn’t give me enough leverage. So I went back and the 9” C-clamp gave the leverage I needed to push out the needle bearing. And yes, I tried heat first
@devinlamberty46049 ай бұрын
@@Babyjonjon10 the hardest part of the job is getting the needle bearing out. I took the bike apart in 30 minutes or so. Put it back together in same amount of time. But messing with the control link and trying to carefully push out the needle bearing without damaging was the hard part
