Helpful video thanks . Trouble shooting my same clutch , with cover off if you pull the clutch the outer basket slightly moves before the clutch engages , should there be play ?

A small bit, but not much. Refer to a technical manual to be 100% sure.

Before you take it apart do you need to line anything up like put it in neutral, gearing , etc ?

no, but everything has to be lined up and locked (as needed) before reassembly

Hi, what part number does the steel block disc have ? Same needed for the pin tool and nut which gets 150 Nm ... thx in advance

We recommend looking up part numbers on one of the parts fiche sites on the web - I use shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/PartsFiche.aspx a lot - because p/ns can vary depending on model & trim level.

Hello sir .. I have same bike and the issue is my Bike's oil pump chain is very loose.. can you please guide how can I adjust it.. bocoz there no workshop or a good mechanic here. I am in north africa.

I did the same job but I had no pressure on the clutch lever. What do I have to do?

I’d say adjust starting at the push pin then to arm and then lever last

NEED to? No. Draining the oil will make the job less messy, though!

Depends on the rider and conditions. Somebody who races will need to replace the clutch sooner than somebody who doesn't, for example.

16:50 - the recesses of all the friction plates must be are in line. See in repairs manual.
