Have a 20018 S1000r and bought Evotech levers and found out the clutch play was causing my bike to throw a service code. Took it to the dealer and confirmed it was the clutch play and fitment with the actuators. Saw on KZbin and BMW forums some had the same problem. Several returned the levers. Contacted Evotech, they were good and offered to send me a new clutch lever and brass fitting. But, offered no other solution. Saw this video and got the idea to swap out the Evotech bushing with the OEM. Great fit, no excessive clutch play and actuator contact is optimal.

650ib well to be fair I took your advice earlier in the year, got the ecu flash, nothing but overheating issues and rough fueling. Tried fixing it with a pc5+custom tune and it didn't help the overheating. Had to flash it back to stock. Ended up trading my 16 for a 17 because I felt my bike was tarnished :(

650ib I assume you mean the ballasts? So do the actual bulb units from the kit you use sit within the original housing and behind the OEM bulb cap? Could you tell me what HID kit when it’s all done on next vid? :-) I’ll then perhaps do a UK install guide with credit to you guys (if you haven’t had time to cover the whole install as it’s time consuming!)

I just installed an Akrapovic exhaust on a 2024 S1000 RR and it’s overheating like crazy. I undid the two hose clamps attached to the radiator to make it easier to install the exhaust. Everything is put back together. The reservoir is topped off with coolant to the max level, but when I squeeze the two hoses, I don’t feel like there’s any coolant in there. I have started it up a few times, and the engine is burning. Any suggestions on what to do?

hey man...you have an RSV4,so you for sure have an answer for me.i ahve a tuono V4 1100.and i'm about to put engine ice coolant in it in an attempt at trying to keep the temps in check...as you know,the V4 engine runs hot because the fans are underpowered or not big enough...does engine ice is of some real help,or is it a worthless hype?
