Even youtube bloggers with smaller amount of subscribers do that, BMW marketing could be interested in that and your local dealer could give you such opportunity. I don't know how it works in US, but that how it works in Europe and Russia.

Getting the parts now to fix it. Mods are basic but very good ones, Akrapovic headers, Brentune tune, MRA Vario screen. For protection radiator guard, BMW crash bars and I also have HVMP bar ends to calm the vives.

@@CubanRider you didn't change sprocket size? I thought you mentioned somewhere that you did. Have you done Dyno run after the Brentune? I did tume on my and it's spits out 165hp and 84Ft/lb, with akrapovich slip on and K&N air filter I have 2015 model

My motto has always been " a bmw should have 4 wheels" 😁 but this machine sounds brutal. Ive got one stupid question. The flashy light, is that a warning when you are getting to high in rpm? Or what does it mean? Nice video, brutal bike!! 💪🏻😊

Thanks Ed. The bigger white light is a shift light, I program it to 11000 rpm but during break-in it's set to around 8000. The other light you might see flashing is the traction control, it keeps me out of trouble when coming out of corners too hot.

Maybe on par with those up to 100 mph or so, once they hit their top end they're gone, lol. The newer version is going to be better with the added technology, but as far as handling and acceleration, I think the older XR can still hold its own; maybe even quicker, would love to ride them back to back and find out.

it's in the settings, just moved the RPM limit from 9000 to 11000.

I was looking to get a Multi back in 2015, but at the same time BMW dropped the XR, so I took a leap of faith for the more aggressive one. I still like the Multi, it's just a different riding experience for sure.

Hey Dark Rider. I haven't had a chance yet, but I would really like to try the new one and share my impressions. I'll try to find a local owner once I get back to TX to do a comparison. As far as getting one, I'm really happy with mine and plan to keep it for a long time, so no new XR for me.

@@Elliot00000 Correct, it's adjustable (6 or 7k to 11k rpm's) so you go easier on break-in and then you can set it where you prefer to shift (most cases 10.5k-11k if you're really getting on it).

Thanks Chad. For tires I use Battlax S22 which offer great grip and decent longevity for the money. Really good tires if you ride mostly in the dry.
