I would have disliked the video but one has to appreciate the effort and time put into making it. You are an expert infact a Doctor of BMW and you are not aware of the procedure to depressurise the fuel system before xarrying out any work...

That is one of the ridiculous things I have ever heard someone say. If you was aware this car hasn’t been started for over a month as the whole car has been stripped fully. Therefore the system was under ZERO pressure as I haven’t started it. Tell me your one of those who would disconnect the battery before changing the injectors also 🙄 You only de presssurise the system when the car has been started this car was under NO pressure as can be seen in the video, this is a easy job for someone like me with skills and know how, for someone with your mind you would probably think you have to dr pressurise the system everytime you touch the fuel rail in which your wrong. If a car has been left sitting without starting the system is NOT under pressure by any means. The system only comes under pressure when the car is started therefore pushing fuel to the injectors, if you watched the video clearly you would see no huge amount of fuel even left the fuel rail therefore it was not under pressure, if it was im sure you would of seen a massive amount of fuel pissing everywhere. Your speaking to someone who has done jobs like this for over 15 years i am no newbie to this job and neither Isit something as my first attempt so do not talk down to me like your a expert because if you was you wouldn’t be here watching this video clearly. I’m old school I remove airbags and play with the electronics on cars without disconnecting the battery and never had a issue in my time because I know what I’m doing I’m not the type to disconnect battery for anything as I have no fear of cars if it explodes well then it explodes, don’t work on cars if you can’t take risks plain and simple same way I like to get under cars with just a jack no axle stands and I done that for 15 years and I been fine.

@@BMWDoctor i appreciate you and your work and the experiance you bring here is phenomenal.. this should be about helping others do it right .. Not everyonr has your skills or experiance .. The fuel in the rail can be pushed back into the fuel tank rather than risking the cyclinders flooding and trying to catch it with towels ...No mattet how one thinks he is the best , someone is out there better ....Education is Knowledge that's why i enjoy watching your videos to gain more Anyways thanks for the video .... Yeah I have to agree this was not the smoothest TIS-level install I've seen or done. Not helping the top o-rings slide in to the rails was a bit odd, but smacking the faces of the new injectors onto block 3 or 4 times made me cringe like I could feel their pain haha :)

How long does it take ISTA to re bleed the fuel after this?. Just curious. Another great video Dean thanks!.

You won't have to bleed with any diagnostic. Put acc mode on for about 30 seconds and start your car. Fuel pump pumps Fuel when acc is on and it will bleed your fuel system.

What injector brand did you use to replace these?

Bosch only ! I have never heard of any other brand of injectors for BMW and if there was I wouldn’t even trust to use them, As far as I’m aware Bosch is the ONLY manafacturer for injectors for these engines. So anyone else would be a huge gamble

@@BMWDoctor my man! Thanks for all your knowledge. I'm ordering new Injectors right now, spark plugs (debating on ordering coil packs as well for spark plugs) new upstream wideband sensor as well. I have infinity design long tube headers and was wondering if I should order new post cat o2 sensors as well? I'm not sure if they are disabled through my infinity design tune or if they are still needed to interact with the wideband upstream even tho it's catless. I love how real you keep all your post though mate. Oh and also do you think it's a good idea to install a secondary in line fuel filter or just replace the intank fuel filter or do both? I'll venmo or cashapp you for answers bruv
