Just swapped my door speaker. Thanks for the explanation. Note: i could disconnect my window switch from behind the pannel. That saved me a lot of cursing taking the window switch out :)

Thanks for this great video! I was able to follow your instructions to do this speaker upgrade. On the passenger side I prefer to remove the window switch from the back, on the driver side I also needed to remove the window switch from the front and it was very difficult to disconnect the electrical plug itself.

Perfect video. My E81 ( 2 doors version from the E87 ) have only a 2-way speaker in the door. So it must be a bit easier when I replace it for a pro 2-way kit. Thanks for the video 😇👍

Hello, my bmw e81 doesnt have tweeters, is there a way to mount tweeters on the doors? Where can i buy the tweeter door panels? Thank you in advance and great vídeo!

If you don’t have the tweeters then you have the base audio system. Our upgrade adds tweeters to your system by using a coaxial speaker which integrates speakers into your midrange. Anyone know where I can buy some replacement "clips" for the door panel? Apparently my inexperience meant I snapped a couple of those clips. They are't really "clips" but they are the round plastic pressure plunging bits that hold the panel tight against the door.
