Absolutely. To be clear you won't get any more volume, but the clarity, depth, openness is night and day. The new speakers do a much better job faithfully reproducing the source material without the harshness, peakiness, or mid-bass mud associated with the factory system. The Stage I replaces all the interior speakers with the exception of the factory underseat woofers, which is an upgrade we have coming very soon.

Idk my 2009 335i sounds excellent! With the stock 11 speakers.. No complaints.. It sounds perfect.. Tweeters crisp mids perfect and the bass is good

Although I love your informative videos, I really really wish you fellas would've completed this video & showed how to remove the REAR DOOR trim on the E90 cars. A great deal of us guys have sedans (not coupes) & really wish you would have added this important & pertinent portion to this video. I do love the products & have the ghost under feet subs arriving soon to compliment my existing Stage 1 upgrade. Just my .02 cents & please take this as feedback for further video improvements. Hi Egils, If the speakers are working they can be resold to someone with blown speakers. Otherwise you can save them if you ever need to put them back in place or recycle them at an electronic waste recycling facility. There are a lot of rare-earth compounds such as neodymium which comprise the speakers.

If you have a center channel (most have grills, you've got actually listen to determine) you've got Logic7/Harman Kardon/Premium (same thing). If you don't have center channel but DO have tweeters then you've got a HiFi. The product listing on our site has a "more info" tab which explains this a little better : )

The difference between the base system and the Stage I is the most dramatic of all. The base system is abysmal as you don't even have tweeters! The Stage I adds beautiful 1" silk dome tweeters and replaces the midbass with curvilinear fiberglass cone drivers. . . I can't stress enough how much BETTER the Stage I sounds than the base system. Night and day.

Yes, sounds like you have a hifi system. So you will still be without the bass response the Logic 7 cars enjoy with the 8" underseat woofers, but the mid-bass up to treble frequencies will sound infinitely better.

The amp on your site says it's not available for base audio systems.....so if you have a base audio system you'd only buy speakers and subs without an amp? I'm kinda confused. Why would I upgrade the sound system without an amp?

I am about to upgrade my sound system on my E90, i am hearing that the stereo (i have no amp in the trunk) has a built in 150Hz HP filter could you confirm this? (i planed to take my high level from this point.) To me this sound like bogus i have not really looked but i had what i believe is a capacitor in series with the speaker, why on earth would just on channel have this 150Hz HP when they are using a passive hp-filter.

I just ordered these today for my HK equipped E90, is it possible to purchase a single additional tweeter to add to the center channel? I know the newer F series cars have it, but I want to fabricate a bracket under the vent next to the center channel. I've seen guys on e90 post do this with a L7 tweet and the result is excellent.

Shane hit us up on the site to discuss further, but my recommendation is to try the Stage I as-is and still see if you feel it is lacking in any way (my guess is you won't!) but we can discuss further should you want to do the tweeter install.

Absolutely. If you don't have factory tweeters, we'll include the necessary wiring, and the tweeter housings too. In other words, everything you need.

Hi, I have a BMW E90 2011 316D. When I picked vehicle on your page, it said "(Except 335I/ IS/ D)". Does that mean it won't fit?

Hi Bjorn, no it will fit. You just need to choose the E90 selection that says "Except 335i/is/d". You have a 316 so all E90 "Except 335" would be you : ) . . . Really this is only relevant for our subwoofer solution. So you could pick either selection and be fine. So yes, we have a Stage I for you and it sounds amazing! : )

Why are you pulling ten thousand things off, that DO NOT need to be removed????????????????????????????????? You could have replaced that midrange door speaker right in the car. Once you have access to the speakers, just replace them. No need to disassemble the entire car. Hey Einstein, don't make something simple so complex!!!!!
