Hi Tony, I showed the main transfer box disassembly and reassembly as comprehensively as I could. Was it drive shaft and heat shield removal you wanted 🤔🤔

Well my heart nearly stopped when that transfer clutch fell apart 😬😬😬 I went home that evening and binge watched transfer box chain videos, trying to familiarise myself with the reassembly process. It just goes to show how familiarity is the best tool in the tool box. Happy Christmas Chris & a prosperous new year 🙏🙏

some man peter not easy doing Gearbox repairs you never know how it will work out 🤔 , my volvo had stuck in reverse gear manual box stripped it down hoping to repair but never worked out springs and bearings all over the place on it for days 🤣 second hand box in the end . Thanks for sharing 👍

I was contemplating the same thing until I get everything back in place that morning, even with the wrong chain. But at least my head was at ease. Happy man then when it was all back together 😅😅😅

great job peter, can we digress for a second... watch all the vlogs and have yet to catch your lads have a messy workshop, something i have to say that displeases me greatly , and can often happen when the place is so busy... so hats of to them... also fair play, its an honest man can admit to a mistake, be it a small one you could have easily edited out that bit and had a vlog..

Hey Lar, sometimes we have so many engines ripped apart & bits left all over the workshop. My head do be frazzled, trying to keep everything organised. I then breathe easy when all those bits are back together & the wagon is up and running again 😅😅😅

Thanks for your the video. Wish you could be a little more slower when you speak. Also we didn’t see a test drive. Did it work great? Also where can I get the chain? I assume it’s the same on in my bmw x3 2013?

Hey Colm, I thought I made a mess of this one, my head was going at 100mph. Hence the early start. It was either going to go back together or I needed a transfer box.
